Outnumbered 2:1 in troops and armed vehicles, the Wehrmacht was forced to defend both days, but fought well. Thanks to all who contributed photos: Craig, Henry, Sonny, Randy, Vance.

Great synergy between the various units of the Gebirgsjager battalion under Mayor von Heinze (Dan/"Dora"): IR 134, IR LIST, 11th Panzer, 914th Grenadiers, HG "Kraus," 13. Kavallarie, 136. Gebirgsjager.

The men are to be congratulated on their efficient and effective use of 3 Paks, support vehicles, 5 Kav riders, several MG's and subautos, riflemen and roadblocks. Saturday's counter-attack at Estroy stopped the Allied advance and included invaluable partnership with Waffen SS armor and infantry.
