Battle of the Bulge at Fort Indiantown Gap PA

January 26-31, 2010. This event is administered by The World War 2 Federation. See their website, http://www.wwiifederation.org for full details. This is by all accounts, the largest event on the East coast and a key event for our unit. "FIG 1", as we call it, is open to the public, and is comprised of two days of "tactical" (battle re-enactment with blank ammunition), as well as a large flea market. Thursday Armored Tactical, Friday Tactical, Saturday Tactical. Depart Sunday.

Winterline

February 26-28, 2010. This is invitation only, held at the Great War Association's WW1 site near Newville, PA. The scenario is the winter of 1943, Italian front. 2010 will be the third year for this event. The GWA site, with its bunkers and trenches interspersed among woods and fields provides a highly authentic setting for a tactical re-enactment.  Arrive Friday, Tactical Saturday, Depart Sunday.

Nordwind/Windhund

March 25-28, 2010. This is invitation only, held at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. We've nicknamed this "FIG 2." Smaller in scale than FIG 1, it is more focused on the tactical. We place less emphasis on barracks impression and concentrate on giving our friends in Allied uniform as much fake lead as possible.  Arrive Thursday, Friday Tactical, Saturday Tactical, Depart Sunday.

Lancaster PA Historical Society World War II Weekend

Exact dates to be announced (generally the weekend before Memorial day).

Mid Atlantic Air Museum World War II Weekend

June 4-6, 2010. Reading Airport, Reading PA. See http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html for full description of the event. Re-enactors are a sidelight to the airshow, with a "living history" encampment. There are battle demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday; these vary in scope each year.
