Liberation of New Oxford
This event staged a late war Alsatian scenario in which a French village was changing hands during a shifting front. Believing the Germans had withdrawn and the town was about to be liberated by an American convoy, the town prepared a welcoming celebration for the Allies. However the town is re-occupied by the Germans who set up a delaying defense in anticipation of the Americans. After a battle in the town center, the town is liberated and local WW2 veterans (the real soldiers) are honored by the Borough of New Oxford.
