Zeltbahn

Various Zeltbahn resources: gallery, videos, links, downloads.
Click on the gallery below which shows the components of a complete Zeltbahn tent:
4 zelt panels, assembled and erected in the field
4 poles
8 stakes
8 stake ropes
1 equipment bag

It also shows the traditional rolling method (starting from one end) and an alternative method that rolls from both ends, keeping the grommets concealed (less visible, less prone to catch something) and does a better job of keeping debris out of the zelt. Each man was issued 1 panel, 1 pole and 2 stakes and ropes-- therefore 4 men could assemble a complete tent. The 4 men rotated sleep and watch. Two slept inside while two kept watch.
